Upper House Hong Kong

The room felt like a private retreat in the middle of the city. By Hong Kong standards it was incredibly spacious, with a luxurious bathroom, deep soaking tub, and thoughtful touches throughout. Nothing felt excessive. The minimalist look was warm, with natural wood, good lighting, and windows framing the harbour and skyline. I never got tired of waking up to that view. The service was what really made The Upper House stand out. The team was warm, professional, and attentive without hovering, often anticipating what we needed and making everything easy. I spent seven days there, and it was the best hotel experience I’ve had. It went by too quickly. The stay had a quiet, understated luxury, and I’d return without hesitation.

A huge thank you to The Upper House team for arranging the proposal. They were so friendly and accommodating, and the decorations were great. They also made my early check-in possible. The whole stay felt like home, and the service is among the best in Hong Kong. We loved every moment in the suite and would happily recommend The Upper House.

We loved how spacious and meticulously clean the rooms were, and the room service food was tasty and well balanced. At Salisterra, the top-floor restaurant, the food, cocktails, and view were spectacular. The location also worked well for getting around on foot. There are other dining options nearby, and places like the Peak, the botanical garden, and architectural landmarks were walkable. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered the lobby, and the caring staff looked after our every need. It was a delightful stay at UpperHouse Hong Kong, and one I’d gladly repeat. Thank you 🙏🏼

Manager Edward made a real difference. He checked on us at the right times, gave thoughtful suggestions, and handled things with a calm, caring manner. He even arranged a lovely birthday surprise for our friend. It’s clear he takes pride in the restaurant and his team. We were six people, and more than one staff member looked after our table. They coordinated politely and smoothly, even during a busy service. The service was prompt and professional without feeling intrusive. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere, and the dishes were beautifully presented with pleasant surprises in each one. The Christmas dinner set was generous for the price, with a starter, soup, main, and dessert. It was a memorable experience. I’ll be back and will recommend it to friends and colleagues.
