I loved seeing the colorful birds and looking out at the mountains each day. My room had a wonderful view, and it was lovely, spotless, and full of charm. The garden is lush and colorful, a quiet spot to unwind after exploring town and the ruins. I stayed for a week in July and felt cared for from the moment I arrived. Dona Elena makes fresh homemade meals with such authentic flavor, and every one felt lovingly prepared. She’s genuinely warm and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Casa Doña Elena is a place to relax and connect with the beauty and culture of Honduras, as well as somewhere to sleep. A special stay when visiting Copán.

After a day walking around the ruins, the elevated terrace was just right. Doña Elena is wonderful, and this was a fantastic place to stay. The space is beautiful and clean, and breakfast was great. The fan was strong and loud, and the A/C worked well too.

A little out of town, but quiet and good value, with lovely gardens. The rooms were spacious and very nice, and every meal was five stars and suited us. My kids loved Dona Elena, who is a special woman. We also took classes at the nearby Guacamaya Spanish school.

The view was the thing I’ll remember most, and the weather was amazing too. Doña Elena, the owner, was so kind and lovely, and made some of the best meals I’ve ever had. The place stayed cozy and clean, and it was easy to get around town since everything was nearby. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I’d return to copan ruins and would definitely stay at this magical place again.

The garden and terrace in the common area look out over the valley and make for a really peaceful setting. My wife and I enjoyed Doña Elena’s meals, and our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. We had a wonderful stay at Doña Elena's B&B and would happily stay here again.
