The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. I found the location both peaceful and convenient, with local shops and places to eat nearby. You can walk to the Copan Ruins in about fifteen minutes, which made visiting the site easy without transportation. For what it costs, the location and quality give you more than you pay for. I have no complaints about my stay.

The border crossing was smooth, and the shuttles were spacious, air-conditioned and driven safely. We booked through Berakah for trips from Guatemala city to Copan ruinas and from Copan Ruinas to San Salvador, and both journeys went smoothly. The part we really didn’t like was having to stop at bad restaurants. In my opinion, those stops were a waste of time.

We took the hotel's shuttle to get around the area and travel between San Salvador and SPS. The staff were very friendly, and the service was punctual and reliable. 100% recommended.

We agreed on a price for a private transfer for two during the off-season, but after a short while other passengers got on. They paid a fraction of our fare because they were apparently “friends.” We then lost an hour, with everyone feeling uncomfortable. The owners seemed to be trying to make a buck on the gringos. The shuttle service felt like a total ripoff.

For $40 US dollars, you get an hour in a nice air-conditioned bus, then just after the border they move you to a small, stuffy bus with no room to move and no A/C for another 4-5 hours. In 102 degree heat, it was absolutely insane and a complete ripoff. Another review describes the same thing. The owner/company is lying and clearly doesn’t care, they’ll just take your money. 😂 It’s no better than the local companies, so I’d stick with one of them for transport and save the money. 🤡
