La Madrugada Hostel

There's a big kitchen, a bar, lots of art and fun things to look at, and even a big screen for movies. You can also relax outside in the chill area. The hostel is clean, with big comfortable beds, hot water in the shower, friendly staff, and a great breakfast. Highly recommend it!

I like the place, and Belinda is awesome, but the noise in the common areas gets too loud at night, especially on the patio by the fountain. People were playing beer pong at almost midnight and drinking all night. I know you'd sent out rules about how late people could stay in the outside areas, but they were still just hanging around.

I woke up during the night because bed bugs were in my bed. I had over 15 bites on my body and face, so I spent the rest of the night sleeping in a chair. They refused when I asked for a refund for that night. One of my worst experiences in Honduras. The staff was terrible.

The place itself is really nice and beautiful, but we had money disappear from our room twice while my sisters and I were staying there. The first time, we thought we might have misplaced it and let it go. The next morning we were out for no more than 30 minutes, and more money was gone. When we asked Josue about it, he got defensive and giggled a little. It was upsetting to think someone might have gone through our personal things. If you stay here, hide your valuables and be careful.
