I’d never reviewed a place I’d stayed before, but after two nights here I felt I should. The apartment was nice and well located, but we had no hot water for the whole stay because the hot water tank was broken. On the second day, the owner let me use another apartment to take a hot shower. When I messaged the owner on the day I left to explain how dissatisfied I was and ask for a partial refund, they flatly refused and said I should have asked before leaving. That response was completely unacceptable. Be cautious about staying here. If something goes wrong, I don’t think the owner will be there for you. I’m sure there are other suitable places with owners who don’t give justifiably unhappy guests the brush-off.

Petrica and Damir were wonderful, responsive hosts, and the complimentary breakfast at Cafe Festival was absolutely delicious. The apartment was fantastic, spacious, extremely clean, and clearly updated very recently with modern conveniences. It’s only a two minute walk from the front door to the Stradun, yet set back a little from the Main Street, which was nice for avoiding tourist crowds and noise. Nothing but great things to say. We’d love to stay here again someday.

Whenever we needed help, Petrica was kind, informative, and full of good advice. They also arranged our transfers and did a fantastic job. The apartment's location was hard to beat. Petrica was the best host we've come across, and we'd tell anyone visiting this city to stay here.

The host was great, and the Old town apartment has lovely decor with lots of little details.
