The shaded terrace is a lovely spot, with a great view over the old town and the sea. The apartment cools down well with the air conditioning. Getting there means a climb up from the old town, and it may be tough for anyone who isn't in good shape. The nearest road is just over 50 steps away, where you can also get a taxi. The kitchen dishes and utensils could be better; cooking there isn't very practical.

The view is what makes this apartment so special: from inside and the garden you can see Dubrovnik's old historic center, harbor, and the REVELIN and MINCETA fortresses. You can also see the northern stretch of the old city walls, the southern islands of Lokum, Mrkana and Bobatra, Cavtat, and, on a clear day, the peaks of the Montenegrin mountains. The location is attractive, and the apartment works especially well for families with children, pets, or older people. I live at the same address, but the apartment belongs to my neighbors, not to me. With all those views, it deserves the highest rating.

The sea and old town look fantastic from here, and the service was excellent. It's a beautiful place, though be ready for plenty of stairs around the old town and on the way up to Vicky's apartment.
