Cosmopolitan House Dubrovnik

Milo, the owner, was so kind, almost like an uncle. We loved him and our stay. The room was lovely, with a balcony overlooking Lapad's bay. The location is handy too: five minutes on foot to the beaches and five minutes to the bus station, then about ten minutes by bus to the old town.

I meant to stay for two days and ended up staying a week. The bay view from the balcony was fantastic, and the rooms were amazing. Everything is nearby, yet the area is quiet. The owner was such a sweet man: he met me at the airport, drove me back to the ferry, gave me treats and a gift, and made me feel like I was visiting my dad. Breakfasts were generous and lovely, only 6 eur, and kept me going until dinner. The rooms were clean, and the linens were changed every three days. I'd definitely stay again on my next visit to Dubrovnik. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

The host was really nice and accommodating, and gave us cocktails when we arrived and a lovely present when we left. The place is ideally located in lapad near the beach. There are lots of steps, so anyone who has trouble walking may need to take taxis. I imagine that's true of most accommodation in Dubrovnik.

Lapad is a great neighborhood, and I loved its beach. The Old Town is only a short bus ride away, and this area is touristy too, just without nearly as many people. I would've preferred a room at the front. Ours had no windows at the back, just a skylight.
