Guest House Bradas

Guest House Bradas worked well for my six-night stay in a single room. The host was a lovely, considerate woman who helped carry my luggage and made sure I was comfortable. The building is one of Dubrovnik’s old ones, so there’s no elevator. My room and bedding were the cleanest part of the stay, and even the shared bathroom stayed clean. It sits between the main bus station and Old Town, about a 25-minute walk from the station and 35 minutes from Old Town. For under three days, I’d choose somewhere near the bus station. For a longer visit, a midway spot like Guest House Bradas makes sense. I wouldn’t recommend Old Town accommodation, since it tends to be expensive or have poor facilities.

It’s basic, no-frills accommodation, but it was clean and did exactly what I needed. The price is especially good considering how expensive Dubrovnik can be. It’s pretty much midway between the bus station and the Old Town, so it’s a good option if you’re using the bus to get around.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, and the location is good if you want to be away from the city rush. Parking is a little complicated, so contact the owner if you need it. They can probably arrange something. My only complaint is the awful, strong air freshener. It was so intense that airing out the room didn’t help, and the rooms really stank of that artificial scent.

The night view from the balcony was the best part! The room was very clean, the hosts were kind, and they let me check in early. The location was good too, about a 20-25 minute walk to either the Old City or the bus station. I’ll definitely come back!
