Hedera Estate, Hedera A2 Apartment

The apartment was ready earlier than 3 p.m. after we let them know we'd landed, which was a nice surprise. Since our evening flight was after the 10 a.m. checkout, we could leave our bags a minute's walk away and enjoy the day without our suitcases. Before arrival, I logged into one of their websites and found the booking details, door codes, and practical notes, even photos showing where to take the trash. The main building door and lock are old, so if the key won't turn it open, press it down a little. The agency stayed in touch, answered all my questions, and offered help throughout. It's a lovely apartment in a beautiful city, and it was set up with what we needed: coffee, sugar, a coffee machine, wine opener, iron, dryer, and even a washing machine. We only had to buy fabric softener. We booked through booking.com with breakfast included. It came by voucher at the restaurant opposite, with three or four choices such as eggs with toast or an omelette, which was enough for me. There was often live music at that restaurant in the evenings, and we could enjoy it from the apartment too. The apartment is right on the main promenade, overlooking the main square and close to everything. It's great for two people. Being so central does mean noise, which makes sense if you're choosing the city centre. Closing the windows helped me sleep well. In the morning you could hear the trash being cleared, but I was glad they were cleaning, the city is really clean. Through booking.com, we had to pay a 100 € deposit. I don't know what the rate is when booking directly with the agency. I found out the agency has a few similar apartments around Dubrovnik. I'd recommend them if you want an easy stay.
