The location is central, making it easy to get to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transport. The hostel felt safe and welcoming, especially for solo travelers. Rooms were kept to a high standard, and the place was clean, secure, comfortable, and well organized. Staff were consistently helpful and professional, which made the stay smooth.

It’s a hostel, but the rooms are good quality, each with its own bathroom and shower. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is handy too, about 5 minutes from the city walls and right by the bus to the airport. There were a lot of Koreans staying there for some reason.

The biggest plus is the location, just steps from the town gate and a 3 minute walk to the cable car bus stop for the airport. I also found two great places to swim close by, the rock beach and Banje, about 10 mins away. The beds were really comfortable, the aircon was good, and the staff were very kind. The hostel attracts many Koreans, which I liked because they were quiet and respectful, apart from one girl drying her hair at midnight 😅. It grew on me, though at first glance it didn’t look like much. The main downside was how dirty it was, especially the bathrooms. I saw cleaning being done with just a vacuum, without water or soap, which clearly isn’t enough for a hostel.

Just a heads up, you can’t get here without using steps. If your luggage is heavy, you can ask for a ground floor dorm. The location is good, right beside the cable car station. The 6 bed dorm is very spacious, and they provide a towel and a bottle of water. The WiFi was slow and kept disconnecting, even at midnight and 3am, though my room was right next to reception. I had a hard time figuring out the public transport route, and they only sent this directory on check in day, so I’m sharing a summary: - From the airport, take the airport bus and get off at Ploce Gate, the first stop. It’s a 5 min walk from there. Google map address: Cavtatska ul. 15, 20000. - From the bus terminal, either take bus number 8 or number 10 to Cavtat and get off at the cable car station. The stairs are on your left, right beside the bus stop. Go downstairs and turn right. - Or take bus 1-A or 1-B and get off at Pile Gate, then look up the address on Google map. I recommend going up the left uphill route instead of entering the Old Town, as it means fewer stairs.

The location is great, with nice views, and the shower was decent. Still, for the price we expected a bit more. We paid 450€ for the family room for 2 nights, and the photos looked better than the place did in person. Nothing was terrible, but the beds, especially the pillows, weren’t very comfortable, and unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. We had trouble with the car. Dubrovnik recently introduced a restriction on driving into the centre, with fines of 260€, and the hostel is inside that restricted area. It would have been helpful to know in advance. We drove in, assuming our accommodation there meant we were allowed, but it didn’t. The hostel is also down a narrow side alley that cars and taxis can’t access. Getting to a road means walking over cobbles and stairs, which is a bit difficult with a large suitcase.
