It was spacious, clean, tidy, and well furnished. Look for number 4 by the door, just down from Dominos restaurant, the one that's not the pizza chain.

The place smelled terrible, and it seemed to have been that way for months because many guests had already complained. The bathroom was extremely cramped, and the apartment was old, very dilapidated, and not renovated. The Booking.com photos were so misleading and deceptive. The kitchen was filthy, just as it was when we arrived. There was only ONE sheet for two people, and it wasn't a blanket! The windows were old and incredibly noisy, and the doors were rickety and loud. It clearly hadn't been properly renovated. The pictures say it all. I absolutely do NOT recommend this awful place. One star only for the friendly lady. Otherwise, ZERO.

Anita, the owner, met us at Pile Gate because cars aren't allowed in the Old Town. The apartment is right by Stradum Street, across from the Gatsby restaurant, and very well located. You don't have to climb the usual stairs found on most Dubrovnik streets. Highly recommended!
