The booking office offered to arrange a car and driver to meet us at the ferry terminal for €30, but nobody showed up. We called the office, checked all the drivers holding signs, then took an Uber instead. It came in 5 minutes and cost US$14. Room 2 had plenty going for it: about a 5-minute walk from Ploce gate and close to sights and restaurants. It was recently refurbished in a tasteful, bright style, with nice linens and towels, good water pressure, and strong AC after a hot day. The downsides were the walk-up to the 4th floor and no maid service. Bars and a singer below were noisy each night until 12:30am, so bring earplugs if you plan to turn in early.

Jelena was an excellent and very helpful host. The place was clean, with modern, comfortable furnishings, and we really enjoyed staying there. It’s right in the center of the Old Town, so everything is easy to reach.

The host was friendly, and the apartment was lovely, with a spacious room, a good-sized bed, and a great bathroom with a wonderful shower. Restaurants are within walking distance, since it’s centrally located in the Old Town. There are as many as four flights of stairs, but you spend the day walking stairs around the city anyway, so you get used to it. A great place to stay in Dubrovnik!

The reception was amazingly friendly. We got a smile and plenty of useful tips for our time in Dubrovnik. The room was the best decorated and furnished one we had during our stay in Croatia, with high-quality fixtures. Everything we needed was there, and it was very modern and clean. I’d recommend it for a stay in the old city.

Petar clearly cares about the place and runs it thoughtfully. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable, and the location in the old city was central. There was initially some confusion because of a bookings.com mistake, so Petar offered us lunch at his restaurant, which was delicious. We had an excellent stay!
