Villa Veleniki

We loved the pleasant apartment, with its swallows’ nests, kittens, and a hedgehog on the terrace. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the little village was beautiful. Thank you!

I booked the place for my partner and her friend, and they had a great time. Daniel, the owner, was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really cute and, above all, clean and tidy. A 10 out of 10, highly recommended.

The settlement itself feels like a little miracle, built with stone, wood, and natural materials from the area. It’s quiet and peaceful, and we felt very good there. The apartment was well equipped, with an authentic exterior and interior that still felt modern. The host was very kind.

We stayed on the ground floor, which kept the apartment cool even in hot weather, so there was no need to use the included air conditioning. It has three rooms: a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a fairly comfortable pull-out couch, and a tiny room with one bed and a quality mattress. There’s a veranda with a table for six. The place was well supplied with mosquito repellent, though there weren’t many mosquitoes. It’s a lovely, quiet base for exploring Istria, and communication with the owners was great.
