The host made our stay easy, with helpful recommendations and a later checkout when we needed it. The apartment was very clean, the air-conditioning worked great, and the bed was comfortable. We also had a mini fridge and kettle, though layouts differ a little, so some apartments may not have every amenity. Best of all, we were right in the Old Town, with a stunning view of the Bell tower and daytime singing we could hear from the vestibule. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Split.

We were right by the harbor inside Diocletian’s Palace, and it was surprisingly quiet. The Palace sights were easy to reach, as was the Riva waterfront walkway, which is lively and especially fun at night.

The view over the riva and the location were both lovely. I did feel uncomfortable, though, because there were lots of bugs and silverfish.
