I booked only about four hours before check-in, and when I got there the main door was locked with no access instructions. I messaged them on WhatsApp and got a reply straight away, so I was inside quickly. Tomas came to let me in, explained the room and the area, shared local recommendations, and gave me his direct number in case I needed anything. He was super friendly. The location was fantastic, near everything I needed, and outside noise didn’t bother me. The price was very reasonable with the last-minute discount, and I’d say it’s worth the full price too. It made a great little base for my time in Split. It can be hard to find. I’d read the reviews saying it was opposite Zara and still took a while to spot the door. The entrance isn’t opposite Zara itself, it’s on the wall shared with the Kebab shop.

The room is clean and comfortable, though small. It’s on the fourth floor with no lift, but you get good AC and a strong shower, and you’re very close to Split’s old town. The cleaner comes every day.

The suite was amazing and really comfortable.

There’s no elevator, and quite a lot of stairs to climb to reach the apartment. Still, the room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a small balcony, and it’s right in the city centre near a couple of parking garages. We also got lots of local tips for restaurants and places to go out.

There’s no elevator, and the room is on the third floor. But it’s well insulated and has very efficient AC. The shower is lovely, the bedding is super comfortable, and the room’s tasteful decor was a nice touch. Bastion Luxury Rooms is right in the heart of Split, with restaurants, bars, tobacconists, and plenty more within easy reach on foot.
