It was noisy all day, with people talking loudly both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel buses kept parking right beneath our room windows and making noise. The hotel restaurant was poor, and during the day they didn’t have anything to eat, just coffee and alcoholic drinks. The hotel is in an industrial area far from the centre, so we had to take a taxi to find somewhere to eat.

We had a really good stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everyone was friendly and kind. Breakfast was included and very tasty. The coffee from the machine gets a 10-plus. Thanks for everything!

Breakfast was good, and the location is convenient. The Riva is a 10-minute Uber ride away, costing around €5. The hotel was decent, and the rooms were very small but just enough for me and my cousin. The walls are extremely thin, though, so you can hear people talking in neighboring rooms. One night, loud guests woke us at 3 a.m. We also ran into a few other problems. There’s no elevator, and the stairs to the second floor have a serious safety hazard (see photo). My cousin hit her head hard on a low section of ceiling that’s easy to miss. There really should be warning signs there. One receptionist, a woman with a curly brunette bob, had a dismissive, unhelpful manner that affected our stay. She often answered with a smirk and shrug, which felt unprofessional. And if you have an evening flight, note that the hotel doesn’t provide shower or washroom access after checkout. They wouldn’t even give us a towel to freshen up. We had to use the downstairs toilet with tissues and wipes, like savages. It soured the end of the stay. I’d gladly have paid to use a proper shower, but they met that request with indifference. This hotel has potential, but some basic improvements and better customer service would go a long way.

My door wouldn’t latch properly, and I’d sometimes wake up to hear it opening. Then, while I was still packing to leave, a woman opened the door without knocking. I could have been undressed. It felt completely disrespectful. She told me to leave right away, and I asked why she’d come in without knocking. I felt sick and needed 20 minutes before I could get out. I was ready to pay for the late departure. At reception, the woman didn’t apologize. She just said I had to leave and pay because the hotel was full and they needed to clean the room. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
