For the price, it was more affordable than most places, and the location was great, close to everything. I felt safe, the room was generally clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. It was small, probably fine for one person but a bit tight for two. There was a kettle, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I did have a few bugs during my three-night stay, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping. There wasn't a fridge, and no staff were around if I needed help. I also couldn't leave my bags before check-in or after checkout. Getting up the stairs with suitcases is required; that was fine for me, but an older couple struggled.

The worst part was the unsecured inner door to the rooms. We were given a code, but the door was broken and opened with a push, so anyone could enter. As a woman staying alone, I felt unsafe. I asked for it to be fixed and was ignored, then told I wouldn't get compensation and that the owner wouldn't help. The manager or owner was rude and didn't seem to care if guests were happy. Trash sat in the hallway and stank all week. The air conditioning kept showing an error in both hot and cold modes, the bed was hard, and they wouldn't provide an extra pillow. It was extremely loud outside in the evenings, and staff in the hallway were noisy at 7 a.m. Appalling. Don't stay here.

The room didn't look like the photos, and I can't recommend the place. The bathroom was dirty, with grime built up, and the room hadn't been cleaned properly. There was also a sewer smell in the bathroom. An Irish pub is right below the room, and noise from both the bar and the city was very loud indoors.

We spent four nights in a hot room because the AC didn't work. We reported it on the first day, but nobody came to fix it. A really bad experience, especially during summer.
