We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and barely needed the air conditioning even in August. A few minutes each day was enough, and at night an open window worked fine. The apartment is spacious, rather like a hotel room, with a little kitchenette by the entrance and a washing machine, though we didn't use either. It had everything we needed for a tourist stay and is only a few minutes from the Palace and the seafront promenade. The hosts were attentive throughout. The owner shared recommendations, and his mother brought us a bowl of figs from their home a few meters away and offered to help with anything. The apartment is on a cul-de-sac lined with similar rentals. There's plenty of activity during the day, but we heard nothing at night. The one drawback was a damp, musty smell when we first came in, even with the window open all day. We stopped noticing it after a few seconds, but they should improve that. Otherwise, we'd definitely stay again.

The apartment was small but absolutely perfect for us, in a very quiet spot beside the old town center. We could walk to the train and bus stations and the port, and it was five minutes to Diocletian's Palace, with lots of restaurants there. The sandy beach, with shallow water, was an easy ten-minute walk away. Josip really cares about his guests, and his mother checked us in with warmth and kindness. His whole family was amazing. I can definitely recommend renting from them!

The owners were very friendly, and the studio felt fully equipped, a bit like a furnished studio apartment in Korea. It had comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, cooking utensils, an induction stove, a washing machine and air conditioning. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Getting there takes around 10 minutes on foot from the Split bus terminal and train station, and five minutes from Diocletian's Palace, though the alleyway entrance made it a little tricky to find at first. I do remember someone had left a child safety lock on the induction stove, and I had trouble turning it off.
