The way the host spoke to us left us feeling insulted and unwelcome. He greeted us half-dressed, pulled a face when he saw our larger car, then spent about 20 minutes complaining about his “high costs” and explaining why big dogs weren’t worth hosting. The listing said the property was pet friendly, but when we arrived he said our dog was “too big” and wanted an extra €70. When we said no, he dropped it to €40 and called it “a miserable €40.” We’re fine with paying a pet fee, but that seemed outrageous. After leaving, we found another place that charged €25, a reasonable fee that had been clearly disclosed before booking. He promised to cancel our reservation for free. After we left, he ignored our calls and messages, then said we wouldn’t get a refund and it was “our fault.” He also said he’d ask Booking.com to block us from posting a negative review. This was our worst accommodation experience by far. The hosts were unfriendly, deceitful, and disrespectful. I strongly advise people to avoid this property.

The host was very kind, and the place was clean, tidy, and spacious. The location is decent too, about seven minutes from the center. I recommend it.
