It felt like a peaceful garden hideaway in the middle of Zagreb. We had parking for our minivan, reliable AC and great WiFi, and could walk to restaurants and attractions. The price was great, too. Highly recommend.

The place itself is lovely, but dealing with the owner was really bad. There was no flexibility, and our stay was extended in a shady way without going through Booking, where we’d first booked, or giving us an invoice until we asked on the last day. Cash was the only payment they would accept. Instead of allowing a bank transfer, the owner threatened to call the police. We were called thieves for not paying in EUR, even though HRK was still an official currency in the country.

We’ve stayed in the two-bedroom apartment several times over the past five years, for between 10 and 21 days each visit. The apartment is very comfortable, and the host is lovely. I think that says it all.

Steffi, the manager, is wonderful and very accommodating. The place is conveniently close to the square and all the attractions in the city center. Highly recommend.

Really good value. It’s a practical, comfortable mix of modern and folk style. The kitchen had useful things like a jug, sandwich maker, washing-up liquid and other cleaning supplies. The bathroom was easy for Westerners to use, and there was a recycling bag.
