Piu Trendy Rooms

The room's pretty small, and the bathroom is separated from the bed only by a curtain. Finding the entrance isn't obvious, and coming back at night through the run-down, poorly maintained building felt a bit like a horror movie. The location itself is excellent.

The common areas were clean and attractive, and the price was reasonable, but this is a hard place to recommend. The room was cluttered with things previous guests had left behind and wasn't clean. Towels smelled of cigarettes, and the hot water ran out quickly. You can hear a lot of road noise, and there were no amenities at all. The bed was two small singles pushed together, not a standard queen, and there was no notice about it. The bathroom has no door, just a curtain between it and the bedroom. Finding the building was difficult, with no entrance sign, and check-in was awkward. The place also felt spooky late at night.

Getting the entry code was a hassle because I couldn't get it by message and had to call. The room smelled when I arrived, and the towels seemed unclean to me because they had a lingering cigarette odor. There's a shower that's starting to get moldy, plus an ugly chandelier right over the bed that made me worry about an earthquake in Zagreb. The location is excellent, though, and the doors between rooms gave enough privacy.
