Royal Apartments & Rooms

We only stopped for one night on the way to Montenegro, but the location is close to the city and there are shops and a gas station nearby. I liked the local beer, and they had a nice tea selection too. The facilities were clean, and there was private parking as well as free spots. Reception is at the bar downstairs; they were quick, welcoming, and helpful. The friendly staff spoke English and explained everything, showing us around in person. One thing that surprised me was having the shower cabin right in the room. That might suit couples, but felt a little awkward with kids.

They advertise a pool, but only four rooms can use it. For the rest, they say you have to upgrade or you can't go in. Staff were rude, and despite claims that the place is soundproofed, we barely slept. At 1 a.m. we heard another guest complaining while staff laughed and threatened to call the police. There were loads of mosquitoes and other bugs, too. Avoid it. I'd give zero stars if I could, and I have videos, photos, and voice recordings to share if needed.

I've stayed here more than once, including for a few days. It's often crowded with people from Romania and Nepal staying together across generations, and it can get chaotic. If your room is beside one with five adults and three children, there's no peace and quiet. You have to ask to get fresh towels. The work seems poorly organized, and the woman working mornings could be better with people and smile more in a job dealing with guests. Based on my experience, this is the best rating I can give.

There was dust on the windows, cobwebs in the ceiling corners, and mosquito blood spots on the walls. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the room was spacious, but the dirt elsewhere makes me recommend avoiding the place.
