Stars of Zagreb Apartments

DONT STAY HERE!!! I've never stayed in a worse hotel. It's filthy throughout, with dirt and trash even in the elevator. Check-in was a hassle, and figuring out which place it was proved difficult because several different names were posted outside. Inside, it felt dark and unwelcoming, almost dungeon-like. The water heater didn't work, so the showers were cold, and the broken air conditioning made it impossible to sleep comfortably. This place should be shut down. Avoid it at all costs!

There are lots of places to eat, drink, and shop close by, and the apartment is clean with the essentials you need. It's right in the heart of Zagreb's old town, a great base for exploring the city.

Be careful, this felt like a SCAM. After letting me book and giving me the wall key safe code, they said the key was lost and didn't refund me. I waited outside the door for three hours for the owner's assistant, but nobody came, so I had to pay to stay somewhere else. Weeks and many emails later, I'm still trying to get my money back. Stay away from this sort of thing.

The host welcomed us and told us where to find the best pizza in town. The apartment was great, exceptionally clean, and well looked after. I'd recommend it and will definitely come back!
