We had a comfortable stay in a private room with a double bed, a separate single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside table. Bedding and towels were included. The hostel is small but very clean and tidy, and its central Zagreb location makes it easy to explore the city. The shared living room is small, with a few sofas and a big TV, and there's also a little kitchen with free tea and coffee. The owner was friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in, and she messaged to let me know when our room was ready. We could also leave our bags in the shared living room after checkout and collect them later. A few things to know: sound carries between rooms, so we could hear conversations next door. The whole hostel shares just two showers and one ladies' and one men's toilet, so sometimes we had to wait. I believe hot water is only on at certain times, mainly in the evening. My partner said there was no hot water when he showered in the morning or after midnight, though when it was working, the temperature and water pressure were both good. Even with those issues, we enjoyed our stay and I'd stay here again.

We were able to hang out in the common area the day after checkout while waiting for our night bus, and they kept our bags there too. The private room was affordable and clean, and the location felt safe and was really good. It's a simple, inexpensive hostel. Thanks!

When my train was cancelled, I ended up arriving very late. The hostel staff upgraded me to a private room and gave me a discount as a kind gesture, which they really didn't have to do. The place was clean, felt safe and welcoming, and is right by the square. A towel was provided too. I'd recommend it 100 percent. Thank you!

The bathrooms and kitchen are both very small, and there isn't anywhere to park a bike. Some maintenance is needed too: the two railings on the stairs to the second floor were loose, and several burned-out lights left things dark. Still, it has a great location and a funky feel in the gabled top floor of a building near the cathedral.

The two staff members were both friendly and helpful, but it felt like they didn't have enough people working. Twice, at 3pm and 11pm, I had to let someone in, and those seem like normal arrival times. Hostels need staff around the clock. The place was clean, and my private room was clean and functional. Nice hostel.
