Please don't stay here. For the price, the quality is poor, and I think you'd be better off at a $50 cheap motel. There are hardly any real amenities, and they charge extra for poor service. The pool was green, while the beach water had trash bags and debris in it. Bugs were waiting outside at night, and yes, there are roaches too. Lights flickered after dark, and neighborhood dogs fought noisily. The front desk woman was rude. A second person costs an extra $20, and checking in early costs another $20, for no clear reason. It was very hot when we arrived, with no electricity or warm water. During meals, a cat was under the table bothering us, which was disgusting, especially since I'm allergic. This place isn't worth the price. Pay the extra $50 or $60 to stay at Decamaron down the road, where drinks and food are free throughout the day.

Worst stay ever. We called earlier that day and were told they had rooms and that we could come, but then waited about two hours after arriving. The room we finally got smelled horrible. The food was tasteless and took forever to arrive, and there was no electricity for half the day. The pool and the sea were the only good parts. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was clean, but this place needs a lot of care. I came from Canada to visit Haiti and spend a weekend away from the city. We arrived with no electricity. I know that's common in Haiti, but I'd expect an establishment to have backup power. It finally came back after three hours, and by then the day was almost over. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and there was no coverage at all one floor up. The toilet flushed once, then stopped. When I tried to shower, no water came out. The majordomo said it would be available soon. There was just one working light bulb in the room, and the TV had no signal when I wanted to watch the World Cup. The service needs serious attention. I don't know if the place will still be in business in a few weeks, or even make it through the year.

I spent a month quarantined here at the start of COVID19. The Hotel staff kept me safe, comfortable, and well cared for. It was gorgeous and relaxing, and I left feeling like I was saying goodbye to family.

The customer service was superb, and the owner was extremely polite and respectful. I stayed just one night and I'm already planning another trip. Le Xaragua Hotel will definitely be my first choice next time.
