The beaches nearby are well kept, with a decent choice of restaurants, and much calmer than the ones on the lake’s south side. The owners are warm and always smiling, which made the place feel like home. My daughter especially loved the dogs. It’s a peaceful spot where you can slow down, and a handy base for exploring this part of Hungary by car or bike. We’d happily recommend it.

The views of Lake Balaton and the mountains are beautiful. It’s a small, quiet village where life moves at an easy pace, and even the retirees nearby seem to enjoy taking things slowly. We liked it, and it feels like a cozy place for a family break.
