The one star feels like too much. We went to the address, but there was no office, reception, or anything you'd expect at a normal hotel. A cleaner told us in broken English to call the reservation number. We tried several times, but all we heard was a disconnected line. It was hot and humid, and we were tired, so we walked two blocks and found a room at another hotel. We believe the hotel at 13 Akacfa utca doesn't even exist and that they just took my money. What a shame!!! Do NOT book or go here.

Until the incident, I couldn't complain much about the apartment or the stay. At 22:00, we left for just five minutes to go to reception and book an airport transfer, leaving our belongings behind. We were assaulted. I know this can happen anywhere, and people might say we should have been more attentive, but it was a terrible experience. I suppose I should be grateful they left my ID documents so I could get home. It makes me think professionals were at work, and I don't believe this was a coincidence. Thank God I'm back home. Never again, neither this place nor this city. P.S. I've heard this happens in other hotels too. A way of life for some people...

The apartment itself was nice and centrally located, but the whole building smelled of weed. We could smell it in the corridor and in our room the entire time. I hadn't planned on getting passively high during my stay...
