The Africa room was a fun place to stay, with its loft and hammock. The hostel is a bit far from central Budapest, but walking wasn't a problem for us in such a safe city with well-lit areas. It's a very small hostel, so you get to know the staff. The front desk team were personable and helpful, with tips on fun things to do and places to eat, and they made the stay feel personal.

The room themes were a fun touch, and I stayed in the Africa room. They even left a postcard on my bed. The kitchen was well equipped, and the staff were really friendly. I liked the stay overall, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a short bus ride to some great attractions. The downside was that I didn’t meet the other guests, since people mostly stayed in their rooms, and my bed creaked whenever I moved.

I’ve been back to Aventura twice over three years, and both stays were great. I had the private double in the Japan room each time, which was nicely furnished with the essentials. The hostel also has a kitchen, free wifi, and loads of information on things to see in Budapest and elsewhere. It’s a clean, quiet, cozy little place in a central spot, and the staff were kind and helpful. A good budget option if you’re backpacking.

You get a lot for your money here. I liked the creative design, and those great Budapest flats from the 13th district are worth checking out! The staff are friendly and full of tips for things to do in Budapest, so take a look at the big board just past the entrance. It’s one of the best hostels I tried in the city, and I stayed in quite a few.

The common areas were clean and relaxing, and our private room was really nice too. Reception was friendly and helpful. It’s a nice hostel in a quiet part of town, and I’d love to come back.
