Blue Luxury Apartment

Awful. We’re here now with no heating or hot water, and nobody will return our calls or emails.

Best of all: the room, the location, and the owner. I'd recommend it.

I can't recommend this place because of both the housing environment and the host's attitude. During the week I stayed, the people upstairs fought in the middle of the night, walked around, and played loud music. I couldn't get a proper night's sleep. I asked the host either to move me to another room or to warn those guests. They then asked me to contact the guests myself, but nothing changed. When I followed up with the host, I never got a reply. I've got nothing good to say about the experience.

The apartment had everything you'd expect, plus a washing machine and dishwasher, and even cotton swabs, disposable razors, sanitary pads, and a schedule of upcoming concerts, including ones in Russian. The interior and design were excellent, and the hostess was welcoming and always smiling. It's right in central Budapest, within walking distance of the metro and all the sights.
