The kitchen's small and basic, though it had cookware, hot plates, a microwave and kettle, and the free coffee was appreciated. People shared the space well. The common room is small too, which makes it easy to end up talking to everyone. Some guests went to bars or concerts, others took wine to the bridge, and some stayed in to cook and chat. It had a nice energy, even if it isn't as wild as it apparently used to be. The hostel has been around for ages and was once named the best in Europe. Olga, the owner, was lovely and full of information. She'd mark places on the maps she handed out, and the volunteers were kind and helpful. The usual hostel comings and goings didn't stop it from feeling like home. I had a great time and will come back when I'm in Budapest. We were close to the Danube and within walking distance of lots of interesting spots. The hostel looks over a museum and park where people sit around and go about their day.

The hostel had a lovely atmosphere and felt like coming home. The volunteers were wonderful, especially the owner Olga, who really looked after everyone. Great location and facilities too. Can't wait to return!

We cooked together, went sightseeing as a group, and the other guests I met started to feel like family. It was my favorite hostel experience, and I can't wait to come back here in Budapest. Leaving was hard because it felt like leaving home. The staff were sweet and wonderful. The owner knew the town well and gave me lots of ideas for places to see. She also had a great collection of books and suggested one that suited my interests. It was a once-in-a-lifetime stay.

The room was clean and the desk staff were helpful and nice. There were some issues getting access to the toilets, but the atmosphere was good.

I only stayed one night at the bubble, but met some really interesting people. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend it :)
