Budapest Holidays Residence

I booked at the last minute, and within 15 minutes the staff had contacted me, sent directions, and got me the room keys. That quick help saved my stay in Budapest, thank you. The room was clean and smelled nice, with free Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. The service was very efficient. The location was great, too. Many places were a 10-25 minute walk away, and restaurants and bars were just across the street and a little farther on. Highly recommend.

Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the apartments were nice and clean in a perfect location. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free, and staff communicated well. I also appreciated the air conditioning and TV channels. The building is beside a main road, though, so it gets noisy with the window open, and the Wi-Fi could be faster.

We arrived at night and found a dark, unsettling place. This isn’t a hotel, but scattered rooms in a building that also has some hostels. You enter by a very small lift, then come out into a dark alley with no lights. Some rooms belong to residents, and on the first floor there was just trash on the balcony. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. For the keys, you have to meet someone in person and give 1.5 hours’ notice or wait. There was no room keeping and no customer service, even for toilet paper. You’d have to go to their office, around 0.9 miles away. There was no locker for keeping belongings safe.

A spacious room with modern furnishings, nice for travelling alone. The location is charming and very central, with a taste of genuine Budapest life. The staff were really kind and helpful. Remember to tell them when you’ll arrive, they send an email a couple of weeks ahead.
