The breakfast buffet was the best part, excellent. Staff were professional and friendly, both at the front desk and in the small, intimate bar, and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. I picked the Carlton for its location and was glad I did. The Fishermens Bastion and Castle Museum are superbly placed for sightseeing from here, and the Chain Bridge is very close, with Pest's sights only a short walk away. I stayed three days, and the Carlton helped make my Budapest visit memorable. Highly recommended.

The staff were helpful, and we could check in early and use the luggage room. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and we liked having a fridge, kettle, and toiletries. The rooms had everything we needed, but the air con barely worked, leaving the room very warm. We kept the window open all night, which was noisy. The location suits you if you're interested in the historical side of town. The main bars are across the river, but that wasn't a problem for us.

The staff and clerks spoke English quite well and were very helpful. Breakfast had a good range of freshly prepared food, nicely presented, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had an excellent stay and will come back when we're in Budapest again.

Szofi at reception was professional and very helpful, with excellent customer service. The hotel is handy for attractions as well as buses and trams. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was good and the coffee decent. We'd recommend staying here.

My friend and I spent a few days in Budapest and were glad we chose the Carlton Hotel. Buda Castle, Fisherman area, and the Danúbio river are just a few minutes away on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious.
