The location may have been good and the price low, but at what cost? We were relieved to hand back the keys and leave after two nights, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. The first thing we said on seeing the room was, “Oh my god.” I'm no princess, but it was a holy moly disaster. There were spiders, the bathroom was filthy, and there was a dead mosquito in the shower. I was scared to sleep in the bed in case there were bugs. There were only two sockets, one in the bathroom and another by the door. The walls and floor were dirty too. The receptionist was friendly but not very professional, and the cleaner didn't know how to say hello or goodbye. The whole atmosphere felt really weird, like we were there as punishment. Luckily we were out all day at the F1 event.

The room was so rough that we slept on the towels, hoping not to get bed bugs. The walls and shower were dirty, and the bedding looked ancient. At least the A/C worked, so we weren't cold. There’s a reason they make you sign a paper accepting the room’s condition. Never again.

The location is the one good thing about this guesthouse. The walls are paper thin, so we could hear everything in the rooms above and beside us. Our room smelled of smoke despite the €100 smoking fine, and it was dirty with disgusting bedding. Fortunately, we brought our own blankets. Paying by card on site also came to about €4 more than the booking price, supposedly because of a different exchange rate. When we arrived, it took half an hour to get the keys because the staff were busy chatting. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It was freezing in the room, and there was dust everywhere. The place was really dirty, including a smelly blanket I didn’t want to sleep under, so I wanted to keep my clothes on. The staff were very rude, too. They charged us another 19 euros for the blanket, saying we’d marked it with a black pencil, though we hadn’t. I think they wanted to replace the linens using my money. I checked the pictures, and the blanket looked like it had been there for ages. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There must be better options.
