The room was spacious and had a small kitchenette with a microwave. It was furnished with the cheaper JYSK range. The bathroom was roomy, though there wasn’t much space for toiletries, and there’s no room service. Staff replied promptly to messages. The apartment is in an old condo, like something from a communist-era Bourne spy film, right at a very busy central junction. Sirens wail past pretty often.

Peter, the host, was extremely nice, and the place was comfortable, clean, and well located. We had a bit of trouble with the lift because we had a two-year-old and a pushchair. In nearly every other way, it was excellent. Definitely recommended.

We had a really enjoyable six-day holiday in Budapest in December. The place is large and clean, with an unbeatable location. They’d left us everything we needed, including soap, coffee, towels, a hairdryer, and dishwasher tablets. Don’t expect luxury, but it has what you need. A great choice.
