The host was so friendly, and the apartment was perfectly placed, just a few minutes on foot from the town’s best sights. Bus and tram stops were a minute away, and the cruise boat stations were just across the bridge. It was also wonderfully quiet, even with a road near the windows, and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the look of the place, with old and modern touches mixed in the furniture and interior. It had everything we needed: coffee, shower gel, shampoo, a washing machine with capsules, drying and ironing things. The host had even left champagne, orange juice, Coke, and a chocolate bar, plus a travel shaver, toothpaste, face cream, and two umbrellas. I’ve never had that kind of care in a rented flat, and those extras helped us a lot. Such a comfortable stay, thank you! There are also two lovely Hungarian restaurants in the same building. I recommend them.

I stayed here in August, and it was easily my best experience renting an apartment. The price was great and the location was perfect, but the owner Alex really made it special. He’s a kind person, always ready to help and offer advice when you need it. An unforgettable stay. There’s no question where I’ll be staying when I come back to Budapest!

It’s a good place to stay as long as nothing unusual comes up. If the owner doesn’t get the review or response they wanted, you’ll get a complaint by email. And if guests feel uncomfortable or inconvenienced in the apartment, the owner blames their stupidity instead of accepting any fault. No kidding.
