Eurostars Palazzo Zichy

Really good location, lovely helpful staff, and clean rooms and facilities. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. The wellness center also has a well-equipped GYM and a relaxing sauna guests can use. One of the best hotels around, honestly. Super recommended 👌

This seems like a good choice for couples. It’s quiet despite being close to the center, and within a 1 km radius there are plenty of lunch and dinner restaurants, plus coffee bars and bakeries for breakfast. The historic building has a striking lobby, especially when you first walk in. The price is very reasonable for what you get. We had a shower problem on the first morning, and staff quickly moved us to another room. They called it an upgrade, but it felt quite similar to the first, only with a lower ceiling. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Both rooms could use some refreshing: wallpaper was peeling in places, a few sockets were loose, and paint was chipping on the light switches. We tried breakfast once. There was plenty of food, but we preferred getting typical Hungarian pastries at nearby coffee bars, since we couldn’t find much of that at the hotel. Don’t expect much from the wellness or fitness facilities.

Our group felt warmly welcomed throughout the stay. The staff were sincere and polite, great with our children, and always willing to offer helpful suggestions. The hotel was clean and professional, and felt like a proper four-star place. Douah really stood out. She’s professional, clear, knowledgeable, and talented, speaking five languages, but her kindness and warmth are what I’ll remember most. She’s a rising star and future leader in hospitality. We’re also grateful to her wonderful colleagues, including our Turkish friend and our Spanish friend David. Thanks for making the experience so memorable.

Getting to the Danube River was easy, just a short walk, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Metro, trams, and buses are only a few streets away, and the E100 airport bus gets you within a ten-minute walk. The hotel was fabulous, with comfortable rooms and beds, welcoming staff, and delicious breakfast.
