Flow Spaces

I was really angry about how the refund was handled. They agreed to refund me so I could move to a different hostel, then later refused to honour what they had promised and made me feel as if I was imagining it. I asked for written confirmation, but they seemed indignant and insisted I'd get the money. In the end, I got only a partial refund, and they argued I shouldn't have received even that. I can't afford to pay for two accommodations, and being promised money and then denied it feels dishonest and greedy. I honestly might have recommended the place, because the hostel itself is nice, but this was a terrible experience. I booked it for the advertised coworking space, only to find it was under construction and had been for a while, so it didn't exist. I tried the common rooms but couldn't work there.

The hostel's location is great: lots of places are walkable, public transport is at most five minutes away, and Tesco is just around the corner. The kitchen was fine, but there were no basics like spices or oil. Most staff were friendly if you approached them, though they weren't proactive. It didn't feel like a place for meeting other travellers, as many guests seemed to be there for work or preferred to keep to themselves. It's under construction now, so I hope stays get better. I can only speak about the dorms in spring 2026, but this was the worst hostel I've stayed in. Our eight-bed mixed dorm was small but otherwise okay. The smell in the rooms was unbearable and stayed no matter who came or went. The sanitary conditions were bad too: only three or four showers and toilets for the whole floor, and the toilets were constantly clogged, with everything covered in mess. I didn't feel comfortable there, although the showers were fine.

My stay went smoothly, and the staff were very kind. The interior was nicely decorated, too. For a budget hostel, it has an almost unmatched range of services. There are lockers in the rooms, with a padlock available if you need one, to return at checkout, privacy shutters, a separate little storage box for each bunk, two charging sockets, fast enough WiFi, clean bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. It's well located near the airport shuttle, trams, and buses to the main attractions. One of the best budget hostels I've stayed in. Definitely recommend it!

The staff are great, and the whole place has a laid-back but professional feel. It feels safe, and I never worried about my belongings. I've visited 17 countries in the past 18 months, and this is one of the top three hostels I've stayed in. Just a great vibe!
