Trendy Deluxe Apartments

The service was spot on. My daughter realized after we left that she’d forgotten one of her AirPods in the bed. I emailed, they found it, and posted it back to us in the UK. We were a family of four staying three nights over Easter weekend in the three-bedroom penthouse. Reception sent really good directions, which helped because finding the apartments is a little tricky the first time. They’re very well located, about a five-minute walk from fashion street and close to loads of attractions. We could see st Stephen basilica from the balcony. There was loads of space, a huge outdoor balcony, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of storage. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to budapest.

The check-in was quick and efficient, and the entrance felt secure. Our two-bedroom apartment with a living room was spacious and clean, in an excellent location. Even though it’s close to the main street, it was very quiet.

The room has most of what you need and it’s right in the center. I took off a star because I remembered having a pen in my room last time, and there wasn’t one this time.

For three nights and four days, nobody came to clean or tidy the room. The kitchenette and bathroom bins were completely full, and we ended up putting trash by the kitchen sink. We asked reception on the second day to clean and change the sheets and towels, but nobody came. The next day, after we called the office, they sent towels and shampoo. I’ve never had hotel staff show such disregard. The room also looked very different from the pictures on the booking site. Our disappointment started with trying desperately to find reception. The hotel is inside an open shopping center with restaurants and several apartment buildings. There’s no sign on the outside of the building, only at the shopping center entrance, and none of the apartment entrances or elevators show the hotel name. We went up floors looking for the desk and couldn’t find it. After over an hour, a worker took us along a corridor and long balcony to the front desk office. We’re angry and very disappointed with the staff and their behavior. I’ll tell all my friends on every platform I can to never book a room at the trendy deluxe apartment hotel in Budapest.
