We've been here for three nights so far, and the room is too small to open a suitcase without taking up half the floor. There's no proper place to put luggage, so we've had to squeeze it into corners to leave enough room to walk. The lighting is much too bright. One bathroom switch turns on five lights, making it feel like a surgery room, and the bedside light is too bright too. There's no small light to turn on at bedtime. We came in winter, but the air conditioning isn't heating well. Reception sent someone to look at it when we called, but there was no apology and no follow-up to check whether it had been fixed. The bathroom has no heating either, and the towel heater wasn't working. Breakfast is just okay. The plain yogurt tasted plasticky, and there aren't enough tables. We were three people, and often had trouble finding an extra chair to add to a table for two. The breakfast area is in the lobby, so it's not an intimate atmosphere, with people coming and going through the hotel. The hotel itself is in good condition, looks nice and is clean, and the bathroom is lovely and has everything you need. But shower pressure is very low, and the water temperature jumps high partway through without us touching it.

From January 28 to 30, I had a perfect stay. The front desk guys were so kind and answered all my questions, about the hotel and about life in Budapest. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. When I mentioned that my room was too cold, they sent someone right away to fix it, and he was very kind too. I left completely happy and would absolutely recommend this hotel. Please pass along my gratitude to everyone on staff 💙

At the Hampton In Budapest, Zayan made us feel welcome with such attentive, friendly help. His sweet smile and charming personality really brightened our stay, and it was clear he cared about making sure guests had a great experience. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

Everything at Hampton by Hilton was clean, comfortable and well organized, and the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay. Renáta deserves a special mention. She was easily the cutest and most helpful person we met, and went above and beyond to make sure things were perfect for us. Staff like her can turn a good hotel stay into a great experience.

The rooms are large and well appointed, and the buffet breakfast has plenty of variety. The place is welcoming and clean, with covered parking and an adjacent garage. It's quite convenient for the city centre and feels secure. Reception staff were discreet and friendly. I'd be glad to return.
