Happy Holiday Lux Apartments

We stayed for seven nights, and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, so we hardly needed public transport. The location is wonderful, and despite a couple of drawbacks, it’s a very good place to stay. The apartment was beautiful and modern, even though the building looks quite run down from the street. The kitchen had the essentials, though I wish it had come with some salt and sugar. Buying a large packet of salt just for a week of breakfasts, then throwing the rest away, felt wasteful. Our apartment was narrow, and getting to the third floor meant climbing four flights of stairs each time. I was there with my mother, and we enjoyed our stay.

We found the self checkout convenient, with no need to call anyone when leaving. The only small snag was figuring out the somewhat complicated lock. The apartment was very clean, the fixtures looked new, and both the loft bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The sofa bed was sturdy too, so don't let that put you off. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised by extras like a Budapest magnet, water in the fridge, and new slippers still in their package. Great value, and I’ll definitely stay here again.

Good value, and the apartment was beautiful, brand new, and I,kea'd-out. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always available. It's right on the edge of a bohemian quarter, with a nice street atmosphere and a mix of bars and places to eat. Budapest is wonderful!

The apartments were very clean during my long-term rental. But when it ended, they took a huge part of my deposit, saying it was for painting. Be careful. I also had no privacy, since the owners would knock on the door from time to time without warning.
