The fish sauce is in everything and really hits you as you eat, in a good way, then again on the way out. I’m not kidding, both times I was passed-out drunk by the time I got back to my flat! 👍 The pho bó is on par with northern Vietnamese style, which you can find all over Hungary, but it’s below what someone used to southern Vietnamese flavors might want. Pho ga is a chicken-katsu fusion, and it’s actually pretty good. The Phad Thai tastes nothing like “Phad Thai,” but it’s cooked in a true Vietnamese style and is very fine indeed. Paprika instead of paradicsom, though… nem. Best Vietnamese food, and hell, the best Thai food I’ve had in budapest so far. There’s no English here, folks, so don’t even ask!!!
