The kitchen and shower were good, and the WiFi was amazingly fast. I stayed one night in August 2013 and found the staff helpful and the atmosphere very relaxed. We had to leave for a tour before our washing was dry, so the receptionist told me to go enjoy ourselves and said she'd put it out to dry. It's a large apartment converted into an intimate hostel, on the third floor of a beautiful building. The entrance is easy to miss, with only a tiny sign on the door. We went around in circles after forgetting to write down the directions, so remember to do that. Probably my favourite hostel.

Our private double room had a comfortable bed, a sofa bed for relaxing, plenty of cupboard space, a high ceiling, and a lovely wooden floor. It was quite large, with its own bathroom, but no TV. The hostel is in a beautiful 19th-century building, conveniently close to buses, the underground, shops, and restaurants. Staff were very friendly, although it struck us as odd that payment was cash only. A few small repairs are needed: the lights above the bed were broken, and the curtain didn't cover the whole window. We had a great time and would recommend the place.

Nice atmosphere and a great spot on a beautiful street, though it isn't extremely central. The room was nice but, in my opinion, not clean enough. It's a smaller place, so don't expect to meet lots of other travelers. If you're after somewhere quieter, it's a great place to stay.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the place had a lot of charm. The receptionist came across as cold and didn't say much. Maybe he was shy or not very comfortable with English, but it felt off-putting. Still, I'd stay for a night, especially with prices that good.

The room was adequate and the WiFi worked, but I probably wouldn't stay again. We called ahead to say we'd arrive at 3pm, the usual check-in time, yet at 3:30 the room still wasn't ready. The receptionist cleaned it then, and it took around 40 more minutes. We were also told we'd get a student discount after showing our student IDs, but we didn't receive one.
