The room was comfortable and clean, and the food was okay. I chose the hotel because it advertised an EV charger, but I couldn't use it for most of my stay. For about a day and a half, a car stayed plugged in for hours after charging was complete, blocking the port. I was counting on the charger and only managed a short charge during the final hours.

We had a great time. The room matched its description, parking was very easy, the place was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing and friendly. Breakfast was good for the price, even if it wasn't amazing, and there was free coffee and hot chocolate. I can't believe how many people come here just to moan. We checked in as a family of five, and my wife is Asian. The staff explained that every passport has to be scanned, which takes a while. They gave us our room key, then called us when the passport scans were finished. If other guests are waiting while this happens, trust me, it's procedure, not race. The claim in another review that a staff member was racist because white guests were served before all ten passports were scanned doesn't fit with what we experienced. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

The staff were great and polite, and everything was clean and in good or fairly new condition. But the shower water only got lukewarm, with no hot water for two days straight, a big downside. The rooms are small, and both the view and breakfast selection are limited. The location works if you need to be near the train station, though there aren't good restaurants nearby. There's no gym or restaurant. The bar has a decent selection, but prices are high for Hungary. The lobby desk and chairs aren't good for working remotely. For a three-star place, it all feels a little on the low end.

The bed was okay, and the sound insulation was satisfying. Two receptionists were kind, and I appreciated them. Still, this Ibis completely spoiled our previous experience with the chain. Breakfast was very poor: it wasn't an intercontinental breakfast, and there wasn't even tomato or Nutella on the buffet. There was only one kind of cheese. The heating was terrible, the soap dispenser by the basin was empty, and the tissue pack was empty too.
