King Guesthouse

The location made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go, and the apartment was large, well stocked, and warm during our November visit. There was a big bed and a good bath-shower. It was tricky to find at first, but communication on WhatsApp was great and someone met us for check-in. Payment was cash only, in Euros or HUF. Since no guests were booked for our departure day, they kindly offered a late check-out, so we could enjoy the last morning without our bags. The area was quiet, but a loud clanging noise disturbed our sleep, and my partner ended up using earplugs. Light also came in from outside, so it would have been nice to have the room darker at night. Still, we had a very nice stay.

Livia greeted us so warmly, and we paid in cash, either Euros or Forints. The rooms are in the courtyard of an inn on the ground floor, with high ceilings that make them feel quite spacious. There’s a broad range of kitchen and bathroom amenities, including a filter coffee machine and coffee, plus a washing machine and hairdryer. We didn’t try the complimentary wine, but it was a nice touch. The beds creaked a little, though it didn’t bother us much. There were no slippers, as at our hotel in Vienna. Otherwise, it was quite adequate. The location is very central, about a 3-4 minute walk from Deak Ferenc Ter metro station.

A large, spotless studio apartment in a peaceful area, and the location is excellent.

Getting around was easy from this very central spot, with all the bus stops nearby. The place is clean and has an apartment-style setup, including enough kitchen space.
