Park Inn by Radisson Budapest

Parking was the biggest advantage for me: it’s spacious and stress-free. The rooms are modern and have what you might need, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. I was in Budapest for business, so the location worked perfectly for me and was easy to reach by Metro. This time I took the Metro from Budapest-Nyugati Train Station, then went five stops to Gyonguyosi Utca and walked a short distance. On this visit, receptionist Petra gave me a particularly warm welcome. Her patience, smile, and friendliness made me feel at home. Thank you.

The food was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the staff were always in a good mood. Everything was perfect for us and our two kids, aged 11 and 9. We hope to be back soon!

I booked through the official app, but the staff said they couldn’t find my reservation in their system, even after I showed them the booking reference. A terrible experience. After some time, they tried making a new booking in my name and eventually got it to work. They didn’t seem to understand the membership benefits policy, though, and gave us the same room category instead of what was shown in the picture. The app showed there were enough rooms available for an upgrade. They also didn’t provide a complimentary bottle of water, which was ridiculous. When I raised it, the staff weren’t helpful or responsive and just kept saying the tap water was drinkable. This may be the worst Radisson in the world. Some staff need retraining and at least a basic understanding of the membership policy. This hotel isn’t worth four stars.

For a short business stay, it’s a convenient choice with a reasonable balance of price and quality. The rooms are practical and clean, and the comfort is good for what it costs. Nothing in particular stands out, but it’s a solid option for a work trip.
