The staff were nice, and for a hostel priced so much lower than the other options, the cost is its main advantage. I found both the room and shared bathroom reasonably clean, despite what some other reviews say. Each bathroom serves two rooms and can be entered from either one. It may feel uncomfortable for women that the bathroom can't be locked from the inside. Our room had no trash bin, and you have to ask staff for toilet paper. It would be better if those were provided.

Keeping our bags at the property after checkout was a big help since we had a late departure and didn't want to carry everything around the city. The location and service were also quite good. The room, though, was in poor shape. The place is cheap, but that doesn't excuse how badly it was cleaned. One of the two beds and its pillow smelled awful, and the odor spread through the room. There were stains on the bedcovers too. I find it hard to recommend, though it may work if you're on a tight budget.

The price was great, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Reception is open around the clock, and there's a locked room where you can leave your belongings. We could check in before 3 pm, and there's a separate room for locking up bikes. The location was good too. I'd recommend heading to the Citadell in the evening for the view and a beer from the tap.

The shared toilets were filthy, and the whole place was disgusting. It was extremely dirty, old, and falling apart. We even found clothes belonging to someone else in our room.
