Don’t stay here. At arrival, we couldn’t get through the complex door because the owner hadn’t given us the right instructions for entering the code. Inside the hostel, broken wooden floorboards led to a filthy room. The sheets and towels had hair and dirt on them, there were cobwebs everywhere, and the floor was dirty. The owner did contact the cleaner, who changed the sheets, but she was very rude and gave one of us only a hand towel instead of a bath towel. The hot water ran out very quickly when we showered. When we contacted the owner again, she was horribly rude and acted as though we were attacking her personally, when we only wanted to be warned that the hot water system would run out quickly. We had to stay for three days. The shared bathrooms weren’t cleaned once, there were hairy bars of soap in the shower, one shower door was broken, and other guests left rubbish and mess around. There also wasn’t enough toilet paper.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location made it easy to walk to just about anything you might need. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything, as did the toilets. The WiFi in my room didn’t work and the air conditioning was very ineffective. It was manageable for one night, but would be a problem on a longer stay.

The location was amazing, with the city, a famous ruin pub, and a nice Italian place down the street all close by on foot. We had a really nice stay at Klauzál apartman, and everything was clean and properly arranged. Just be aware that the common areas are shared, so you may get noisy neighbors. It didn’t bother us because we sleep really well. You can leave your things there after checkout, too. Good price and a really nice place to stay.

The rooms are spacious and well heated, and the area is quiet and central. There are at least six or seven bedrooms of different sizes, with two kitchens and two bathrooms on opposite sides of the apartment, one for men and one for women, plus three showers. The wooden floors creak a lot, and there’s no soundproofing between rooms, so you can hear people walking around. Toilet paper wasn’t replaced promptly when it ran out.

The room was clean and bright enough, but the rest of the place was awful. There were discarded socks in the bathrooms, dirty dishes and food left all over the kitchen, and unpleasant smells. The one thing it has going for it is a very central location.
