The host was really kind and helpful, and the place itself was awesome to stay in.

We were grateful for the air conditioning because the room was unbearably hot, like a chicken rotisserie. The owner was very friendly, and the room itself was really cool. The location was great and the room was very nice, but the service was awful. We had the same sheets for a week and the beds weren't made. They also left the bathroom towels unchanged until we finally complained, then they replaced them. We could hear the kitchen staff constantly going in and out of the storeroom next to our room, and the refrigerator was really loud at night.

The apartment looks great, is stylish, and has everything you need, but we barely slept during our eight nights there. Three restaurants have back rooms facing the courtyard, and their workers made noise from 6 a.m. until midnight, banging bars and doors, chatting, and rolling trash carts over the cobblestones early in the morning. On vacation, it's hard to make up for that with only the hours from midnight to 6 a.m. for sleep.

This apartment is so beautiful you could spend the whole vacation there, if the city weren't so great.
