Beautiful Air-Conditioned 2 Bath Apartment in Budapest City Center

Breakfast was poor quality with very little choice, and they ran out of yogurt quickly. If you came in the last hour, there was none left. The room was clean, but pretty run down. We even found ants in the bed on the fifth floor, and my friend was bitten. The Wi-Fi was weak in the room, even with a router there, though it worked much better in the cafeteria. There wasn't a kettle in the room either.

I honestly don't see what people are complaining about. The reception staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were cozy, clean and nice for what we paid, and there was enough food at breakfast. I couldn't find a downside. It was quiet at night, though of course I heard people coming back to their rooms around 11 pm. I'm not a child who needs to be asleep by 9. I've traveled all over, stayed in fancy places and in ordinary 2-3 star hotels, and this really wasn't as bad as some earlier reviews made it sound. For the price we paid, it was very good 😊

The breakfast was awful, with barely any options and food that was tasteless, poor quality, and unpleasant. The room was dirty, obviously not cleaned properly, and nothing like the Booking photos. Even the bathroom door wouldn't close. The receptionist was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional from the start. When I pointed out that the room didn't match the pictures, he didn't apologize or offer a fix. Instead, he demanded more money for the room shown online, even though I'd paid in full already. It felt like a scam. I only stayed because it was one night. I wouldn't have stayed otherwise, and I strongly wouldn't recommend this hotel. Save yourself the stress and wasted money.

On May 3rd at around 22:30, we calmly asked if we could go upstairs briefly to collect our things. The receptionist shouted at us, pointed his finger, and acted aggressively and intimidatingly. He kept interrupting and ignoring my questions, speaking only to the man. He also made an unacceptable comment about our nationality. We stayed calm, but he still threatened to evict our family and call the police. The experience left us feeling unsafe. Guests should feel respected and comfortable at a hotel. Very disappointing.
