Vitta Hotel Superior

For one night, the hotel worked well, and at 62€ for two people with breakfast and free parking, it's hard to complain too much. The room was clean, though small, and the beds were quite narrow, so I'd want more comfort for a longer visit. The location suited my business plans but isn't especially convenient for sightseeing in Budapest. We found a free parking space right outside; when those are full, guests are sent to the nearby Penny supermarket lot. It's lit and covered by cameras, but seeing a couple of junkies hanging around a car with no wheels there didn't make me feel very confident. Good value, though I'm not sure I'd stay again.

The rooms were fine, with comfortable, very warm beds. The furniture and bathroom looked a little dated, but for the price I wasn't expecting more. Breakfast and parking are included, which is handy if you're driving. The hotel is some distance from the city centre, so getting into Budapest means public transport or an Uber at about 15 Eur each way. Especially recommended for a stopover by car if you also want to visit the city. Look out for special offers, they make the stay really worthwhile.

Gregory deserves a special mention. He was kind, helpful, welcoming, and easy to reach for information and recommendations, and made us feel comfortable right away. The staff were professional, reception attentive, and the daily cleaning was well organized. Our room was clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi reliable, and breakfast fresh, tasty, and varied. The hotel is close to public transport and attractions, which made Budapest easy to explore. We had a wonderful stay, found it good value, and would recommend it.

Gregory was the highlight of my stay. His kindness, professionalism, and real hospitality made sure I felt looked after and comfortable, and made the trip feel special. Everything else was lovely too, from the warm atmosphere to the excellent service. Thank you, Gregory.
